Bruce's CPAC 2024 Prayer
Representing CrossCountry3, Bruce led the opening prayer at CPAC 2024 in Washington, DC on Feb 22.
The following is his prayer:
"Lord God, thank you for valuable moments like these - moments we treasure because we know the impact this conference has on America today & America tomorrow.
God, our nation's beginning came to fruition through struggles & strife, trials & tribulations. But, under Your watchful eye - defeat was turned into victory & desperation into destiny. God, from Palm Beach to the Pacific Ocean; from Mount Rushmore to our memories of the cry, "Remember the Alamo!" From the paper our Founding Documents were written on to this location overlooking the Potomac - we're filled with gratitude for all these American treasures.
Lord, you know more than all others - we are far from perfect. But, God - You made us winners. It's in our DNA. Now, it's our desire to keep it our destiny. So that we might win again & be a City on a Hill - a shining light in a world of darkness.
Lord, like David - we are warriors & watchmen. And, like David - we have fallen & failed. Please, forgive us. Dust us off, Lord, so that we will be warriors & watchmen - fit for battle. Today, we give ourselves to Persevering in the Faith, Protecting our Families & Preserving our God-Given Freedoms.
God, you said if we trust in You that we will mount up with wings like eagles. Well, God, America's national symbol is the eagle & we're ready to soar!
Lord, as always, thank You for the privilege & honor of living in & serving the United States of America...the greatest nation in all the world. In Your Name, Amen."
